Sydney
From the 17th to the 23th of november we were staying in Sydney the capital of new south wales . I think that it was the most anticipated part of the trip . Some students went on this trip just to see this marvellous city and I understand them because I must admit that sydney is the city to sightsee.
- On our first day we went to the beach and we learnt surfing. In just a few hours I became the new Adrian Buchan (famous australian surfer) . I even won the surfing contest organized by our instructor. Ok I'm lying , I was terrible at it even the worst at it despite this I had a great time !
- The folowing day we visited the Sydney nature park . Ok you are thinking that zoos are just for kids . Well I don't care and I'm proud to say "even though I'm 16 I love to go to the zoo". Moreover there weren't boring animals that we have always known like pigs but animals that we couldn't see in europe such as wombats,Dingos, sugar Gliders . Be honest do you even know what a wombat is ? Of course you don't, that's why australians wildlife is so amazing.
- Then on the 19th our sadistic teachers thought that it was a good idea to not only see the harbor bridge called "the coat hanger" but to climb it . I just couldn't do it because It's one of my greatest fears . When I was about 5 I wasn't able to jump from a bench so It's clearly impossible that I climb the coat hanger .
- On the 20th we dived with sharks !! It was the most thrilling experience I have ever done because I was admiring and afraid of these creatures at the same time. A lot of people were not enough courageous to dive among sharks (ok I didn't climb the coat hanger) so I was really proud of me !(maybe a little too much)g
- On the 21th we visited the famous Sydney opera house . I must admit that the Sydney opera house is a real architectural miracle with it's 1000 rooms and 300 corridors . After visting the building we saw a musical wich was great ! I was quite suprised because usually I don't like this type of show.
- Then on the 22nd we did the Bondi to Coogee Costal Walk . It was a very long walk (aproximately 3h30 ) but the landscapes were breathtacking ! There was also a swiming pool near the cliffs and restaurants.
